Update to the Next Generation of Russian Arbitrators Guide (NGAR)

We are pleased to announce that the Next Generation of Russian Arbitrators Guide (“Guide”) is ready for an update.

 

We are now accepting applications for inclusion in the updated Guide. To be considered, please submit your CV and the names of 2 (or more) members of the Advisory Board who can provide you with a recommendation (if applicable) at ngar.guide@gmail.com.

 

The Advisory Board has updated the criteria for inclusion into the Guide:

• Age of 30-45 years (including those turning 30 this year);
• At least 8 years of experience in arbitration;
• At least 5 arbitration cases in which the candidate participated as a representative of a party or an expert, or at least 2 cases in which the candidate participated as an arbitrator;
• Recommendation of at least 2 Advisory Board members or an interview with a two-person panel appointed by the Advisory Board.

To have your application considered, please submit it by June 20, 2024.

The Guide seeks to equip users – arbitral institutions, law firms and in-house counsel – with comprehensive information about potential arbitrators with specific expertise in Russia-related cases. Choosing an arbitrator is one of the most important decisions in the course of an arbitration and we aim to ensure that in making this decision the users consider the full range of options, as well as information about experience, industry expertise and procedural preferences of the potential arbitrators.
