Breaking into the international arbitration market is increasingly competitive. Early appointments often depend on professional visibility, reputation, and meaningful engagement with arbitral institutions and the counsel community, while maintaining independence and credibility.
This session will focus on practical strategies for obtaining first appointments, effective positioning and visibility tools, and common selection criteria applied by institutions, appointing authorities and counsel. The discussion will also cover regional dynamics across the Middle East and Asia - regions where disputes involving a Russian element are expected to increase in the nearest future.
The format is interactive, with audience Q&A and discussion of concrete career trajectories.
